Bahati ONG was born as result Doctor Albert Bossy’s speciality in ultrasound. He searched for NGO specialized in mother-infant ultrasound and couldn’t find any in Spain. Then, he found as the most effective and useful way for him to help, the creation of his own NGO.
In 2005 Doctor Albert Bossy brought the first ultrasound equipment to Kenia, helped by Darragh O’Connell, Doctor Mireia Bossy and Dr. Burrell. More precisely, they established a small practice in Kibera, a suburb with a population between 500.000 and 1.000.000 inhabitants, 5 km. away from Nairobi.

In 2007 Etiopía. Wukro project.
En 2007 Nicaragua, Matagalpa. Training for a cluster of women, in the healthcare sector.
En 2008 Ivory Coast. Healthcare personnel training at Le Centre Social Medico Socia Ante Gardien.
En 2008 Mali, Mopti. Ultrasound equipment and medical personnel training delivered, in Caritas Hospital, Monti.
En 2009 Nairobi. Clinic established in Umoja-Donholm.
En 2013 BAHATI is founded, with the aim to support the project.
